Runway June Brings Virtual Christmas Concert to Military Exclusively for Armed Forces Entertainment

NASHVILLE, TN – 7 December, 2020

Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) is presenting a special virtual concert, When I Think About Christmas With Runaway June, honoring the military.  Thousands of deployed service members will be unable to return to the USA to be with loved ones for the holidays.  Sadly, for what might be the first time since Bob Hope began performing for the military deployed overseas, entertainers will be unable to visit military bases.   Those visits have always provided a much needed morale boost by showing support and appreciation for their service.

The video will be available beginning on Friday, December 11th,  2020 through Saturday, January 2, 2021 exclusively via the Armed Forces Entertainment Youtube Channel (Youtube.com/ArmedForcesEntertainment).

Naomi Cooke, Jennifer Wayne, and Natalie Stovall make up the Nashville trio behind the acclaimed 2019 album, “Blue Roses.” They’ve gained a tremendous amount of country radio success with having the first top 5 radio single in over 15 years by an all- female trio. They have been named CMT’s Next Women of Country, are two-time ACM nominees, and have opened for some of country music’s biggest icons including Carrie Underwood’s 2020 “Cry Pretty” tour and next year’s Luke Bryan “Proud To Be Right Here” tour.

The concert was filmed  before a live audience comprised of  Tennessee National Guard families and 5th Special Forces Group.  A special treat at the end of the concert shows children from the military audience on stage singing “Jingle Bells” with Runaway June.  Tune in and help spread the word – you might recognize someone you know in the audience!   You can also sign up for notifications on Facebook.   Simply sign in to:
